In the 17th Feburary 2026 episode of the ABC’s South Australian Country Hour podcast, Professor Andy Koronios speaks with Cassandra Hough about the new National Digital Twin (NDT) for agriculture being built by the Australasian Space Innovation Institute (ASII). The NDT uses artificial intelligence to build a national-scale replica of Australian farming environments. The AUD $50 million project brings together the huge range of data being generated on weather, climate, soil and agronomic models to help make decisions on farm.
